The EPRU SEDRU Regional League second-round fixture was played in Klipfontein. Klipfontein also beat OC in Grahamstown 20-17 in the first round on 23 April. The visitors Kowie took a narrow 7-5 lead at halftime. This was also the last fixture match for the season for both clubs and indeed an astonishing and brutal contest in front of a large crowd. Port Alfred business owners and residents were left mopping up early on Monday, August 8, after heavy overnight rain. According to the South African Weather Service, overnight rain was 71.6 mm. As the late winter sun shone against the clear blue waters and the purple and white balloons lining the poolside, there was much cause for cheer. Sports Administration manager Frans Mamabolo said the long-awaited revamp had been slowed by drought and funding constraints. Bissett was born in Pretoria, in a hospital long since forgotten. By age three, they had discovered an allergy to a ginger-white cat and moved to Amanzimtoti’s sandy beaches in KwaZulu-Natal.
