Toyota has retained its title as the world’s most valuable car brand in the annual BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands Study. The St Andrew’s College hockey teams found the physical and technical challenge against Grey on the weekend (Saturday 3 June) tough going but many players competed until the final whistle. The U14Cs created a number of chances but failed to convert losing 3-0. Thomas Wolstenholme and Hylton Lovemore played well for the U14Bs who lost 4-1, while the U14A side lost 5-0 against an excellent Grey team. Kingwood College 1st rugby side sustained early pressure applied by Union High School to score four first half tries. The annual inter schools match took place at Kingswood’s City Lords on Saturday. The match was a good spectacle, with both sides enjoying their own successes at various stages of the match. They did just that with a convincing 42-5 win.
