WARD 11: Who won?

The African National Congress (ANC) has retained its Ward 7 seat with a reduced majority. ANC candidate Sakhiwo Zono received 68.86% of the vote followed by Xolelwa Donyeli of the Makana Citizens Front (MCF) with 19.96%.

The ANC won with 84.11% of the vote in 2016.

Voter turnout on Monday was 46.53% compared with 51.64% in 2016.
