Nokwakha Mali – Restaurant worker
“Unemployment of the youth and the use of drugs.”
Bhasela Saki – Warrant Officer
“Those who don’t have money are greedy and want to celebrate like others.”
Eviwe Matiwana – CWP Worker
“Everyone wants money in December regardless of working or not and there is no employment”
Malibongwe Makhasi – Manager
“Boasting [in front of]those who are not employed.”
Bongani Mfunzini – Unemployed
“No employment”
Zameka Mata – CWP worker
“They want to have things like those who have worked. So, us who have worked, end up having nothing”
White Royi – CWP Worker
“Poverty creates crime. When people are hungry they start to create crime.”
Nolime Mafele – CWP Worker
“There must be working opportunities. [Outside] companies must not bring their own people when there are projects.”
