However, he confirmed that Jan Serfontein, who has been sent back to Pretoria, would be out for a minimum of four months.
Nyakane has struggled with a shoulder injury, while Mapoe has battled with a back spasm. Du Toit pulled up during the Stormers' Super Rugby clash with the Cheetahs with a hamstring injury, and Jantjies, who is recovering from a fractured middle finger, has been deemed unprepared to face contact.
When quizzed on whether du Toit and Jantjies would play, van Hagen said that while early signs were promising, their progress would be monitored over the week and the final decision rested with coach Allister Coetzee.
Von Hagen described sitting in a Springbok press conference as "intimidating", but said he was pleasantly surprised with the way training has gone so far.
