Rapportryers member Strauss de Jager has good news about the vandalised and stolen artwork at the Bible Monument. “Among the advice I received was that we use granite,” De Jager, who is also the minister of the NG Kerk in Grahamstown, told Grocott’s Mail. An move from 13.23 to 12.20 rands per US Dollar is one of the factors boosting a drop in fuel prices as steep as 30c a litre this month. Oliver’ SRC (student representative council) and Monitors attended a team building- and leadership camp on 19-21 January at Hobbiton in Hogsback; during which they completed several leadership enhancing activities. Primary school leaders were able to improve their self-esteem and overcome their fear of heights by doing challenging group activities. High school leaders practised patience as they were forced to rely on younger children for certain activities.
