Last Friday, The Hyacinth Wild took the stage at Makhanda’s legendary SSS venue as part of their highly anticipated Eastern Cape tour. The Zululand-based ensemble delivered an unforgettable performance that showcased their unique musical prowess and undeniable stage presence, leaving the audience in awe.

Local band Treble Trouble served as the perfect opening act for Hyacinth Wild, treating the audience to their bluesy sound. The collaboration between the two bands was a testament to their companionship and support within the local music community.

Vocalist Steve, of the Treble Trouble, had a powerful voice and his magnetic stage presence were standout elements of the performance, as he effortlessly transitioned between soulful ballads and high-energy anthems. The solid foundation provided by the rhythm section and impressive guitar work was beautifully complemented by the dynamic horn section, adding depth and richness to each song.
