    Kingswood College grade 10 pupil Emily Poultney competed in the 2024 World Union of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF) South African Karate National Championships and Afro-Asia Open over the weekend. Poultney placed 4th in Kata and Kumite, 3rd (Bronze), Shobu Ippon Kumite, and 1st (Gold) in Team Kumite, at the tournament.
