On 10 and 11 March, 23 schools from all over the Eastern Cape are participating in the annual Frans Erasmus Tournament at PJ Olivier School in Makhanda. There is also a market on the Saturday. Eight Makhanda schools are participating – Victoria Primary, Oatlands Prep, Graeme College, Good Shepherd Primary, St Mary’s RC Primary, Capstone Christian School, Ntaba Maria School and the tournament hosts – PJ Olivier.

The other schools are from Kenton, Port Alfred, Kariega, Qonce, East London, Cradock, Fort Beaufort, Komani, Gqeberha and more!

A PJ Olivier spokesperson says: “We are overjoyed with the number of school entries as this means that over 600 netball and rugby players are coming to visit us on our beautiful school premises!”
