Two Access Music Project (AMP) learners Lihlumile Nyengane and Sesethu Mtshelu have won the Commonwealth International Composition Award in the ‘Starters Category’ (for first-time composers).

Lihlumile and Sesethu’s pieces will be played in London at the Grand Final in February 2022, and the event will be live-streamed.

AMP coordinator Shiloh Marsh said, “We are so proud of them. And we are so grateful to Commonwealth Resounds and ABRSM for launching our learners into the world of composition!”
