WARD 4: Who won?

The Democratic Alliance (DA) has retained its Ward 4 seat, but with a substantially reduced majority. DA candidate Geoff Embling received 52.06% of the votes followed by Philip Machanick of the Makana Citizens Front (MCF) with 31.62%.

The DA won with 82.92% of the vote in 2016.

Voter turnout on Monday was 45% compared with 60% in 2016.
