Saarkie stel nuwe musiekvideo bekend

Die gewilde meisierockers, SAARKIE, het pas hulle splinternuwe musiekvideo, Vir Altyd, bekendgestel.

Suid-Afrika se gunsteling-meisierockers het pas die musiekvideo vir hul enkelsnit, Vir Altyd, vanaf hulle opkomende album, Queen van die Toorbos, uitgereik.

VIR ALTYD bou voort op die elektries-akoestiese, bars-uit-jou-nate-uit, wenresep waarvoor dié groep bekendheid verwerf het en kan beskryf word as ’n mengsel van moderne Pop en Rock. Die liedjie is geskryf deur Adèle Fouché en Mjön van Blommestein en verteenwoordig die goeie plek waarin die Saarkies hulleself tans bevind. Die liedjie vertel van iemand se begeerte om sy of haar drome uit te leef saam met die ideale persoon, vir altyd… Die musiekvideo is deur Girl with Hat vervaardig en die beeldmateriaal is glo regoor die land (met die grootste gedeeltes in Mpumalanga) geskiet.

SAARKIE bestaan uit drie pragtige en talentvolle musikante. Adèle Fouché is die hoofsanger en liedjieskrywer en speel ook kitaar en mondfluitjie. Lila Botha speel dromme en doen ook een van die agtergrondstemme in die groep. Erika Pretorius is die nuutste toevoeging tot die Saarkies en het in 2016 by die groep aangesluit. Sy is verantwoordelik vir die baskitaar, klawerbord en tweede agtergrondstem.
