The Belmont Valley Mountain Bike Challenge kicks off On Sunday 14 of May with three different formats catering to all Mountain Biking enthusiasts.

Competitors will start and finish the race at the Belmont Valley Golf Club, as mountain bikers complete one of three demanding routes. All the routes are through the countryside, offering amazing views and opportunities to take in the raw side of the Belmont Valley.

The Adventure Route is 15Km long, through relatively flat country and offers an excellent chance for beginners to hone their mountain biking skills.

At 40Km, the Challenge Route brings a more diverse track through the countryside, with more obstacles through farmlands and trails. This is for the more experienced cyclists that challenges their abilities and enhances their endurance.

The final route is the toughest of them all, a grueling 60km Endurance Race which not only challenges a cyclists stamina, but their strength and courage as they complete a course full ups and downs with mud, fences and hills between the start and the finish.

All of this could not be possible without the help of the Manley Flats Trails Community, who assisted in clearing the brush and preparing fences for the races.
