Grahamstown police are appealing to the community to assist with information that could lead to the identification of a man who was picked up from a Joza street on 3 April and taken to Livingstone Hospital in Port Elizabeth.

Grahamstown police are appealing to the community to assist with information that could lead to the identification of a man who was picked up from a Joza street on 3 April and taken to Livingstone Hospital in Port Elizabeth.

Police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender said the exact location of where the man was found is not clear.

The man is allegedly is a semi comatose state and Govender said there is no information on how he got into such a state or who he is. 

She said that police require assistance from anybody who can identify him or help in establishing what happened to him.
