Renowned anti-apartheid activist and former Judge of the Constitutional Court, Justice Albie Sachs gave the Neil Aggett Memorial Lecture at Kingswood College on Monday 13 July.

The Neil Aggett Memorial Lecture is held annually in commemoration of former Kingswood College pupil Neil Aggett, who died in police custody under apartheid.

Justice Albie Sachs spoke poignantly about his time in exile, and how he overcame the traumas of isolation, losing his right arm and the sight in one eye after a car bomb explosion.
