A group of pupils from Kuyasa Special Needs School and staff at Van Schaik book store got an early start on World Book Day, Thursday 23 April. The Van Schaik staff dedicated the morning to reading, drawing and engaging with the 37 pupils. Staff and pupils read stories to the group, and the children then spread around the store as they did colouring-in activities. Pupils received goodie bags containing books, stationery, water bottles and sweet treats, and Van Schaik staff presented the school with a bound book of the students’ drawings to commemorate the happy morning.
