Josie and Cate Gerber of The Diocesan School for Girls participated in the Inter Schools SANESA Nationals horse riding competition in Johannesburg recently.

Josie and Cate Gerber of The Diocesan School for Girls participated in the Inter Schools SANESA Nationals horse riding competition in Johannesburg recently.

They rode in the Level 7 competition, which is the highest level in any discipline for high schools. All the provinces were represented.

Grade 8 pupil, Cate, above, went on to finish 1st in the Level 7 (1.0m) working hunter race, riding Count to Be. Josie, Grade 11, riding Parsifal in the Level 6 (1.20m) show-jumping placed 6th.
