Although it's not official yet, Ntsabo, who is currently the Visible Policing Commander at the Grahamstown police station, says he has been identified has potential head of the Joza police station.
Ntsabo has experience as station commander. Before coming to Grahamstown he was the station commander of the Jeffreys Bay police station for six years.
Speaking about the opening of the new police station, Ntsabo said the date had not yet been set, but the need to have a permanent police station in the township was clear and had been on the cards for years.
"There is progress. The transformers are there, but there are still problems with the electricity supply to the station," he said.
Ntsabo said he is committed to rendering services that are acceptable to the community and ensuring that he has the community's trust.
He described himself as a people's person, who has good human relations, adding that he has invested his life in work in police work.
Ntsabo has a BTech degree in Policing; he has obtained his LLB in May this year and he also has a diploma in labour relations.
"I was admitted in the high court as an advocate on 26 September. I know what is right for the people of South Africa because during my career as a police officer, I have been studying law," he said.
Ntsabo said one of his major subjects was constitutional law.
"One of my key priorities is to ensure that police brutality and harassment are a thing of the past," he said.
