Agang SA, the new political party registered by well-known academic Mamphela Ramphele, has arrived in Grahamstown and is already looking for volunteers.

The party is recruiting a range of volunteers for ward-organising committees to regional committees, as well as for a national office.

It appears that the recruitment campaign is part of a national effort to prepare for next year’s national and provincial elections. The new party’s website is up and running and can be found at www.agangsa.org.za.
