A woman whose C Street home was gutted by fire on Easter Monday was overcome with emotion as former colleagues brought her new furniture and other essentials on Friday.
Thobeka Tolwana (front row, second from right) has been staying with relatives after the incident and was overwhelmed by the kindness of the women she once worked with.
Tolwana’s daughter, Phindezwa Rabeshu (front right), says they weren’t sure what caused the fire, but most of the house’s contents had been burned.
