A 47-year-old woman accused of stabbing her husband to death appeared in the Grahamstown Magistrate's Court this week.
Govender said according to a witness the woman was allegedly embroiled in an argument with her 57-year-old husband at their N Street home.
After this she allegedly stabbed her husband several times when they went into their bedroom.

"The victim came out of the house and collapsed on the ground," Govender said.
An ambulance was called to the scene but he died on the way to hospital.
The woman has been charged with murder.
