A wide selection of bulk goods will be going for special prices this weekend to celebrate Broadway Cash and Carry's second anniversary. Starting today, it's running specials on groceries, cosmetics, crockery, plastic ware, sweets and quality red meat.

But Broadway Cash and Carry has a lot to celebrate and be proud of after two years of doing business. Not only does it offer customers highly competitive prices on quality products, but the owner and his friendly staff also take the needs of the community to heart.

Best of all, they promise to continue and improve on their good services in the years to come.

The business prides itself in being the cheapest in town with a variety of fresh food products bought in regularly from East London and Port Elizabeth.

Owner Waseem Nawaz says he is looking to grow his business and wants to expand more into the Grahamstown East community.

With many products to choose from and free delivery to customers buying in bulk, this shouldn't be hard to achieve.

It's clear when one walks into the shop that Nawaz knows the value of good service and his staff members know what 'service with a smile' means.

But business isn't the only thing on Nawaz's mind, he realises the importance of giving back to the community that supports his business. They sometimes visit local schools and churches to donate materials that are in need.

Nawaz believes that his staff members' attitudes will play a vital role in improving communication with locals. We at Broadway are thankful for the support we receive from the local people, he said, and we appreciate the generosity they have showed us during the past two years.

He promises Broadway will strive to become more efficient and maintain their standards and ethics. One of their current standards is that their products must be fresh and up-to-scratch at all times. One of the nine Broadway employees is always on duty to check the different products' expiry dates and make sure they are in good condition.

Besides offering free delivery for bulk orders, Broadway also has ample parking space right next to the shop's entrance. It is at 1 Jarvis Street and can be phoned at 046 622 3015.
