Three professional Grahamstown boxers, Masonwabe Mgcuwe, Ndudumo Lolwana and Vuyani Swartbooi, will be taking part at the Silindokuhlo Boxing Promotion at Mzamomhle Community Hall, in Kirkwood tomorrow.
The boxers have been training hard and say they are ready for the event.

Mfuzo Dyira, from Mfuzo Boxing Camp, said the trio had been looking forward to the relatively high-profile tournament. Here in Grahamstown they don't have promoters, Dyira said.

You need to have money to promote the professional boxers because they need to get paid, said Mfuzo.
Lolwana will be boxing his fifth fight since turning professional. He will be going up against Unathi Netani, from Uitenhage. Dyira said this would be a great match for Lolwana to sharpen his skills and to settle his level for this year.

Swartbooi, the Flying Fist will be going up against Lonwabo Roboshi, also from Uitenhage. This will be the first fight for Swartbooi as a professional boxer and he has been training hard for this tournament.
Mgcuwe, Dancing Shoes will be sharpening his boxing skills against Mzukisi Daniels, from Uitenhage. This match will help shape Mgcuwe's record as a professional boxer.
