It was a blast from the past for many, as old boys returned to Grahamstown for Graeme College Founders celebrations during the weekend. One of the oldest to return to his old school was Pat Lister, who matriculated from Graeme in 1950, and who came all the way from Zimbabwe for the festivities.

The first event on the programme was the Founders Day Memorial Service, attended by the full school, as well as staff and a number of old boys and friends of the school. The old boys enjoyed a cocktail party on Friday night, before the Graeme first cricket team faced an Old Boys side on Saturday. The weekend's events culminated in a spit-braai and social evening at the Old Graemian on Saturday night.
