The two Grahamstown sides in the Cacadu league, City Pirates and Eleven Attackers were kicked out of the Nedbank Cup in the early stages. Friendly City soccer club from Alicedale went on to win the Nedbank Cup, after beating AC Malan, from Jeffrey's Bay, in the final.

The defending champions of the Cacadu league Stream A, City Pirates, are top of the log after winning their only match played so far. They beat All Stars 6-1. Eleven Attackers are currently in seventh spot on the log. They lost their first match against Young Pirates 0-2 and went on to draw their second match against Teenagers 1-1.
