Fifteen-year old violinist and pianist Tessa Campbell presents her first solo recital at the Kingswood College Music School Auditorium on Wednesday, November 30 at 5pm. She will be performing works on the violin by Beethoven, Wieniawski and Dohnanyi, accompanied by her mother, Liz Campbell.

On the piano, she will perform works by Bach, Schubert, and Debussy.

A 9th-grader at Kingswood College, Tessa has already earned distinctions in her Grade 8 violin (Royal Schools) and Grade 8 piano (Trinity) exams. She won 3rd prize at the recent SASMT Competition in Port Elizabeth.
An enthusiastic and dedicated musician, Tessa has participated in the Franschhoek Chamber Music Workshop and several orchestral projects. She studies violin with Juan Munoz and piano with Mariel Ilusorio.

The programme lasts about 45 minutes. Entrance is free. Donations for the Eluxolweni Shelter are most welcome.
