On the down side, however, team officials for Cameroon were reported to the league's disciplinary committee for unsporting behaviour.

Also, some teams did not show up for their games, continuing a trend that has plagued the league since the start of the season.

Matches involving Rhodes University and Eastcape Midlands College have been postponed as a decision on their participation is still pending.

Makana LFA secretary, Thandazile Madinda, said: "Rhodes had a meeting on Tuesday to resolve their participation in the league, so we are waiting on them."
