The Grahamstown Cricket Board (GCB) enters its fourth week this weekend with teams still vying for the top honours in each league.

The main leagues are the GCB 1st and 2nd league, which are in turn split into other leagues including the Central Albany 1st league, Albany 2nd league, Bathurst 1st and 2nd leagues, 20/20, and the Grahamstown 2nd league.

First league

Rhodes Rats beat Sidbury by 8 wickets. Rats made 73 all out and Sidbury replied with 74 for two wickets down.

Rhodes Rhodents beat Salem.

Cuylerville beat Rhodents. Rodd Fisher of Cuylerville made 108.

Manleys beat Rhodes Rats. Manleys made 308/7 in 50 overs (JP Holder made 98 and Anton Ferreira made 49). Rats were all out for 66 in 19.2 overs.

Rhodes Rhodents beat Makana Sona by 23 runs. Rhodents made 229 all out and Makana Sona were all out for 206.

Willows beat Rats by 140 runs. Willows made 259 all out and Rats managed only 119.

Cuylerville beat Kingswood by two wickets. In one of the more exciting matches of the second league, Kingswood posted 252/9 in their 50 overs. Cuylerville made 255/8 with two balls to spare as Steve Gornall top scored with 108 for Cuylerville.

Manley Flats beat Southwell by two wickets. Southwell made 146 all out and Manleys made 147/8.
Salem beat St Andrew's College by 80 runs. Salem made 187 all out and St Andrew's replied with 107 all out.
Rhodents and Sidbury had to settle for a draw as rain washed out play.

Port Alfred and Kingswood also drew due to the match being stopped rain.

Second league

Cuylerville 2 beat Southwell

Manley Flats beat Swallows

Station Hill beat Early Birds

Salem beat Sidbury

Cuylerville 3 beat Kenton

Port Alfred vs Rainbows match was cancelled

Tiger Titans vs Shrews match was postponed to 5 November.

Albany vs Rhodes Shrews match was postponed to 7 November.

Shrews vs Salem match was rained out for a draw

Kenton gained easy points against Rainbows who could not field a side.

Sidbury 2nds beat Southwell by 11 runs. In their first match of the second league, Sidbury made 239 all out. Chasing 240 for victory, Southwell were bowled out for 228, just shy of the winning target.

Manley Flats beat Cuylerville 2 by 66 runs. Manley's made 261 and Cuylerville replied with 195 all out.
Swallows beat Albany by 8 wickets. Albany were all out for 24. Swallows passed the target, making 25, with two wickets down.

Tiger Titans beat Early Birds by 7 wickets. Early Birds were all out for 25 in 9 overs. Tiger Titans passed the score with 3 wickets down in 5 overs. As the match finished before lunchtime, the teams decided to play a 20/20 match. This time the Tiger Titans batted first and made 305 for 5 wickets down. Early Birds were all out for 96 in 9.1 overs. Notable performances were, Africa Bongolwethu Draai who made 141 runs, Zukisani Simanga made 86 runs and took 3 wickets, Yivani Manyathi made 43 runs.

Port Alfred beat Station Hill. Port Alfred made 137 all out and Station Hill were bowled out for 29.
