    Raglan Road crash leaves one dead

    An accident involving three vehicles left one person dead and seven critically injured last Sunday. The collision occured in Raglan Road late in the afternoon.

    An accident involving three vehicles left one person dead and seven critically injured last Sunday. The collision occured in Raglan Road late in the afternoon.

    Grahamstown Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Sherolene Williams said: “Three vehicles were involved of which seven people were seriously injured and one passed away at Settlers Hospital.” Williams said one of the vehicles, a Toyota Hilux was trying to overtake a Ford Laser.

    “The driver of the Ford lost control and drove off the road and landed into a ditch near Vukani while the driver of the Toyota Hilux drove straight into another vehicle on the other side of the road,” said Williams.

    The occupants of the three vehicles were all taken to Settlers Hospital immediately where one man died later.
