Three Grahamstown gymnasts (all level 2) performed well at the recent Eastern Province trials which took place in Port Elizabeth.

Carlotta da Costa qualifies for the EP team to compete at the South Zone National Challenge in Stellenbosch from 4 to 5 June.

Da Costa obtained a second place on bar and fourth place on beam at the trials. Elrone Prince, at her first EP trials, won a bronze medal for finishing third overall in the 12 and under category.

She also received a certificate for her first place on beam. Eleanor Amner, who also represented the   Grahamstown Gymnastics Club at her first trials, fared well against stiff competition from other clubs in the region.
