    Ten Victoria Girls’ High School pupils participated in the Cacadu athletics championships on Saturday in Humansdorp.

    Ten Victoria Girls’ High School pupils participated in the Cacadu athletics championships on Saturday in Humansdorp.

    Three of the pupils have made it through to the Eastern Province trials. The girls going through to the next round are: Asisipho Moyake, who finished first in U19 long jump with a distance of 4.31 meters; Kirby Daniels who finished second in U15 100m with a time of 14.3 seconds; and Awongwa Tinta who took second spot in the U17 high jump with a height of 1.46 meters.

    Squash Marné Mostert of VG participated in the Bloemfontein Squash Open over the weekend, where she won two games and lost three. She ended in 15th position in the B division.
