An entertaining, educational performance, a dance spiced up with a bit of drama by Via Volcano production. Showing us a township life style, the dress code and how they entertain themselves through a popular Pantsula dance and how best they execute their dance moves. Their piece also acknowledged the blind community, crime and those living with HIV\Aids.

Set in 1894 this production tells a story of two spies, Humphrey, an ex-British spy who joined the Afrikaner army, and Kobus, a Boer spy. The two were together at the front and dramatically and severally saved each other’s lives. War brutality told against a comedic background. TS-FJP

Trading P.E for a small town, Olivia who lives with her dad, becomes best friends with her neighbour Kay. Here she witnesses domestic disputes, alcoholism, experiments with drugs, finds love and experiences disappointment. A well written story gloriously animated by Briony Horwitz. DD

Rock trio featuring Fishoek’s fresh blend of drum, acoustic and bass instrumentals, carried across by Paige’s lively yet diverse vocals. As the performance gathered momentum including a brief djembe crossover there was no stopping the crowd from joining in. A true crowd pleaser! SF

Bobby Jones is a naive 22 year old paper boy who lives in his head. The dreamer faces reality after what can only be described as a much needed freak accident. Grant Jacobs delivers a “multifaceted” performance creating a mixture of emotions. A show not to be missed. DD
