    Henry Olivier
    21 February 1997 – 2 September 2017

The Hoërskool PJ Olivier community was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of Henry’s fatal car accident, on the Port Alfred road, last weekend.

Henry attended PJ Olivier since 2015 and matriculated last year. He loved rugby and athletics and was also a member of the school leadership team.

Henry will always be remembered by his fellow students and teachers as a warm, caring person and always made time to inquire about the well-being of all with whom he had contact. In this way, he touched the lives of so many people. He always had a kind word and a joke for all.

Henry had strong leadership qualities and the ability to demand discipline and respect from all fellow learners, and was a most reliable hostel prefect. He was a conscientious and honest learner.

Henry’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service in the school hall that will take place at 3pm today (8 September). Everyone who knew this special young man is invited to attend to pay their last respects.

Hoërskool PJ Olivier offers its sincerest sympathy to Henry’s family and loved ones. – Joubert Retief, Principal.
