Monde Tabata the SARU Administrator at EPRU, was present at the event as one of the special guests. He was full of praise for the Brumbies in staging such a big and successful event: “I have never seen such atmosphere at a local event, it is more like a provincial event.
It is just an amazing experience and heads off to the LOC of the club that managed to bring the community closer together. The amount of effort that has been put in to showcase this is totally commitment and unbelievable. This event can only grow from strength to strength. Well done Brumbies.”
Cello Tape Rugby and Verries netball each won a cash prize as champions of the Fabian Juries Community Fun day. These cash prizes will be donated to community organisations of their choice. This is what this community day is all about: Building a caring Grahamstown community.
