ArtBucks members get credits worth 10% of the ticket value, which can be redeemed when booking for the following year's Festival or donated to the National Arts Festival Arts Encounter project
Bookings open for the general public on 9 May.
The new National Arts Festival website has been completely redesigned and for the first time you can book on the website.
Bookings cannot be made via Computicket this year.
Festival CEO Tony Lankester said the new ticketing system, used for the Edinburgh Fringe, is “one of the world’s most efficient, robust, versatile and secure systems”.
“This is an amazing, world-class system, unlike anything we’ve encountered.”
Festival goers will be able to plan their Festival visit online and then book quickly and securely.
The new website's streamlined planning and booking facility can be used on desktops, smart phones and tablets.
"Customer experience is put front and centre of this software," said Lankester. "It is easy, quick, safe, intuitive and is an absolute joy to use.”
Closer to the Festival, a new mobile app will be launched with the full programme and a scheduler.
The full programme and booking forms are already available on the Festival website www.nationalartsfestival.co.za.
From 9 May, printed programmes can be collected at the Settlers' Monument or at the Makana Tourism office in High Street.
