Kingswood College first squash side start what has been an amazing season for them, remaining unbeaten at the FNB St Andrew's Invitational Squash Festival in Bloemfontein (19 February). They remained unbeaten throughout the season, winning all 18 matches. They won 200 games and conceded only 16, and were crowned the Grahamstown and District squash first league champions.

Natalie Ross finishes third in the 20 to 24 age category at the South African Triathlon championships in East London (29 March). Natalie goes on to finish third overall and second in the 20 to 24 age group at the South African Duathlon Championships in Potchefstroom (10 May), thus booking her place in both the SA triathlon and duathlon for the World triathlon and duathlon champs respectively.
She chooses to take part in the ITU Duathlon World Championships in Canada, where she is crowned age category world champion after winning the 20 to 24 age category. She is also named Sportswoman of the Year at the Rhodes University Sports Awards Dinner.

Sintu Manjezi of St Andrew's is selected to captain the EP U18 Country District Craven Week side. (24 May). Sintu goes on to play for the EP Kings U19 side, which gains promotion to the U19 Premier Division after beating Border in a promotion/relegation game. Sintu is also selected for the Eastern Province U19 cricket side taking part in the Khaya Majola cricket week, currently taking place in Durban, and is offered a contract with the EP Kings Academy.

Nobubele Phuza, of Rhodes University Netball Club, is selected for the South African netball squad to play in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014.
