    Last weekend was a high scoring one for the Makana LFA teams. Golden Eagles thrashed debutants Black Stars by seven goals to three. On-form Lalibela Lions defeated African Spears by eleven unanswered goals. Young Stars edged Love and Peace by five goals to four, while Young Eagles put four past Newseekers. Joza Callies bounced back from the Joza derby defeat to beat the Eagles by six goals to nil. Stream A log leaders and on-form Makana Tigers beat Golden Brothers by six goals to two, while XI Attackers and Sophia Stars played out to a one-all draw. This coming weekend sees most of the teams playing their last game of the first round, and this will set the tone for a tough and closely contested second round.
