PJ verwelkom nuwe Afrikaans onderwyser

Hoërskool PJ Olivier verwelkom graag vir Shanice May as deel van die Afrikaanse Departement.

Sy het in Januarie 2021 by PJ aangesluit en Graad 12 Afrikaans Huistaal (Letterkunde) gegee terwyl sy haar Nagraadse Sertifikaat in Onderwys by Rhodes Universiteit voltooi.

Ook by Rhodes Universiteit het sy ‘n BA-graad in Regte en ‘n Honneurs in Afrikaans met onderskeiding voltooi. Sy behoort aan die Golden Key Society van Rhodes Universiteit en het ook Akademiese toekennings ontvang.

Sy is oorspronklik van Somerset-Oos, maar het verhuis na Makhanda waar sy as hoofmeisie matrikuleer het. Wanneer sy nie werk nie, is sy lief vir lees en geniet veral Misdaad-fiksie.

Die skool is baie opgewonde om haar permanent deel van die PJ-familie te kan hê.
