The African National Congress (ANC) comfortably held Ward 13 with 58% of the vote. The Democratic Alliance (DA) held onto just 8.63% of the vote after haemorrhaging support to the Makana Citizens Front (MCF), which landed 21.6%.
Voter turnout was 48.5% compared with almost 60% in 2016.
