This coming weekend, Saturday 30 – Sunday 31 October, the Cathedral will celebrate a special annual Festival. You are warmly invited to take part in the following events:
Prestige Concert, Saturday 30 October, 4 pm
Come and join us for an afternoon of celebration and thanksgiving for the gift of music-making – featuring the Cathedral musicians and associated choirs. Admission will be free, retiring collection.
Morning Worship on Sunday 31 October
The visiting preacher at the 7.30 am and 9.30 am services on Sunday 31 October will be the Revd Canon Bill Domeris. The 9.30 am service will be a special family occasion to which parishioners are encouraged to come with their children.
After both services, there will be a White Elephant stall. Donations may be left at the Cathedral office.
Festal Evensong, Sunday 31 October 5 pm
At 5 pm there will be a service of Choral Evensong in the Cathedral. You are invited to join us as we celebrate our patron saints, contemplate the angels, archangels, and the company of heaven, using our stained glass windows in the chancel, and laud God’s glory. Speaker: Mrs Jeanette Eve. Kutlwano Kepadisa will conduct the choir. Come early to hear an Organ Recital by Peter Black, beginning at 4.15 pm.
