The poem is about the bloodline of the D sound. It is the bloodline according to the author with unshakable bond even though it is not a perfect bloodline. This bloodline is of the maternal side. The poem is an unfinished poem. Igazi libonakalis’ukusulungeka kwentembeko. Ngaphandle kwegazi asinge kuthembi ncam. Khaninqunquthe mawethu.

Makhayandini ndinixelel’unganixokisi
Andimlu wanyama
Ndinabo endizelwe nabo
Benikwe isandi segama
Nam ndazala ndenza njalo

Kulo makhulu katot’omkhulu
Kwamntakubo makhulu
Sinegam’esizidla ngalo
Elithi du du du
Liyaduma ke lidudume
Kuba wonk’uban’umv’esithi
.Besisathe nqa ningazi nalo

KwaMathwayi sino bhuti
Olithintitha kakhulu
Ungamva xa eza kuthetha
Uma ixesh’elide
Ndibon’ukuba unent’afun’ukuyitsho
Ngeli ngeni
Sivakal’isandi sokuthetha
Igama lakhe nguDumile

Ekhaya sinomzala wethu
Esakhula sicinga ngumalume
Olithintitha lokwenene
Othi xa enomsind’angakwazi
Ukuyitsho lo nto ayicingayo
Umv’esithi ndi-ndi ndi ndi
Sele ekuthi hele ngayiphetheyo
kuhlabe ke xa umphazamisile

Uyaziwa yena kweli laseRhini
Uphakathi kwezikrelemnq’ezaziwayo
Ngokukhalipha nobumnyama bentliziyo
Sisiphoxo ekhayeni
Kuba sonke saziwa ngokulunga
Kodwa yena ngokukhohlakala
Uyabikwa kwimizi ngemizi
Noko nje sele ekhulile
Ubizwa ngokuba nguDuma
Kuba wayedumile
Kuko konke okubi
Kodwa xa liphelele
Kuthiwa nguDumakude
