    Despatch road closures

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd (SANRAL) has announced road closures on the National Route R75 between Despatch and Uitenhage from Monday 18 to Wednesday 20 September 2017.

Motorists may consider using the detour to Despatch at the Botha Interchange via Main Road. If the public misses the detour they will have to continue via the R75 or Swartkops Road (R367/M19) to Uitenhage Road where they will be able to enter Despatch.

“The road closures are necessary due to the constricted construction area that requires resurfacing. The area that requires resurfacing cannot accommodate both the construction plant and the travelling public safely and therefore requires road closures,” said Mbulelo Peterson, SANRAL Southern Region Manager.
