St Andrew’s College Inter-House Rugby
Upper House won the senior competition and Graham House won the junior competition.

Swimming
Martin Wolmarans and Haydn John of St Andrew’s College took part in the PEA winter gala in Newton Park, Port Elizabeth from Friday 30 June to Sunday 2 July.
Martin won seven individual medals and four relay medals. He won a gold medal for the 50-metre butterfly; silver medals for the 50-metre freestyle, 50-metre backstroke and 100-metre backstroke; bronze medals for the 100-metre freestyle, 100-metre butterfly and 1500-metre freestyle. He swam all (except for the last one which is not swum at St Andrew’s) in standard times. Martin also swam in the gold-medal winning 200-metre freestyle mixed relay team along with Emma Podesta and Courtney Repinz from DSG.
Haydn bettered several of his personal best times in his individual races and he played an important role in his relay team helping them win bronze medals in the 200-metre freestyle and 200-metre medley relays.

RUNNING
Three St Andrew’s College boys, Tony Rubombora, Gabriel Walsh and Joey Fischer, as well as Chaplain, Fr David Stansbury, ran the Knysna half marathon, all coming in under 100 min. Tony excelled in placing second in the Junior category, whilst Gabriel at 16 years of age was one of the youngest runners.
