Update #1: Hello and welcome to our live coverage of today’s 1st XV rugby clash between St. Andrew’s College and Kingswood at Lower Field. Keep refreshing this page for all the latest updates.

Update #2: St. Andrew’s are the favourites for this game, having won 11 of their 13 fixtures so far this year compared to Kingswood’s five wins from 12. However, Kingswood have had the better of them in the last two derbies, winning 20-19 here two years ago and 34-22 at City Lords last year.

Update #3: Both sides have gone through transitions last year. Kingswood have a new director of rugby in Jonathan Mallett, formerly of St. David’s. Meanwhile, St. Andrew’s are now being coached by Andy Royle, who has taken over from Gerry Posthumus. Royle was already the Director of Rugby and has continued in that role as well.

Update #5: The second XV clash has come to an end and now the build-up to the big kick-off can well and truly begin.

Update #6: Plenty of EPCD Craven Week players are on show today. From St. Andrew’s, there is Jenkins (the EPCD captain), Mngxaso, Dugmore, Brown, Makani, Evans, Koster, Allanson, and Sharwood. Kingswood, meanwhile, have a lone representative in Galada.

Update #7: The pre-game tunnel has been formed ahead of this grand derby.

Update #8: Kingswood’s team make their way through the tunnel.

Update #9: St. Andrew’s are out too and we’re nearly set to go.

Update #10: KICK-OFF: Kingswood get the game underway.

Update #12: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S, SHARWOOD! 5-0: From the move following the lineout, the hosts apply pressure. Eventually,  vice-captain breaks a tackle and scores!

Update #13: CONVERSION, ST. ANDREW’s, KOSTER! 7-0: The fly-half adds the extra two from a simple kick.

Update #14: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S, MORE! 12-0: The big centre powers through a tackle and adds another try for the hosts!

Update #15: Koster misses the conversion from right under the posts.

Update #16: TRY, KINGSWOOD, MUTUKU! 12-5: Straightaway, Kingswood hit back at the other end and Mutuku scores next to the right touchline!

Update #17: Sterling’s conversion attempt hits the left upright.

Update #18: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S, MNGXASO! 17-5: The hosts win a turnover in a key position and Kingswood are made to pay! The prop crashes through the defence and over the line.

Update #19: Koster pushes the conversion attempt wide to the left.

Update #20: Kingswood look to hit back, but Varty collects a chip into space on his own line and gets the ball into touch.

Update #21: Mutuku gets the ball on the right and chips it into space and runs for it. Makani gets back on the cover for St. Andrew’s and dots down.

Update #22: Kingswood are back on the attack near the St. Andrew’s 22.

Update #23: The attack comes to nothing and the hosts look to run their way out of their half. However, Sharwood is tackled into touch short of their 10-metre line.

Update #24: Nine minutes remain in the first half and the hosts still lead 17-5.

Update #25: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S, MORE! 22-5: After camping on the Kingswood line for a sustained period, the hosts finally score after More is adjudged to have grounded! A scuffle between the two sides follows.

Update #26: YELLOW CARD, KINGSWOOD, MANGWANA! The vice-captain is sin-binned for his role in the bust-up.

Update #27: Koster pulls the conversion left from near the left touchline. Still 22-5 to the hosts.

Update #28: St. Andrew’s go on the attack once again, but they lose the ball forward just short of the line.

Update #29: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S! 27-5: It’s unclear who grounded the ball, but it came from a good piece of play from the forwards after the attacking lineout. We will confirm the try-scorer as soon as possible.

Update #30: CONVERSION, ST. ANDREW’S, KOSTER! 29-5.

Update #31: HALF-TIME: ST. ANDREW’S 29-5 KINGSWOOD.

Update #32: The teams are out and we’re all set for the second half. Both sets of supporters are making lots of noise.

Update #33: St. Andrew’s kick off the second half.

Update #34: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S, ALLANSON! 34-5: The hosts have picked up where they left off! The winger scores near the right touchline.

Update #35: Koster’s conversion attempt looks good from where we’re seated, but the flags do not go up. Still 34-5.

Update #36: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S! 39-5: Once again, it’s unclear who has grounded the ball near the left touchline. We will confirm as soon as we can.

Update #37: This time, the conversion attempt is well wide.

Update #38: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S, DE VOS! 44-5: The flanker slips a couple of tackles and goes all the way through to set up an easy conversion kick for Koster.

Update #39: CONVERSION, ST. ANDREW’S, KOSTER! 46-5.

Update #40: We can confirm that the last St. Andrew’s try before half-time was scored by Callum Dugmore.

Update #41: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S, EVANS! 51-5: The hosts park on the edge of the Kingswood line for a sustained period after Sharwood is tackled just short. Eventually, the scrum-half goes over.

Update #42: CONVERSION, ST. ANDREW’S, KOSTER! 53-5.

Update #43: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S, MORE! 58-5: A superb piece of work from the centre and Allanson. More passes to the winger out wide and then Allanson passes back inside to set him up for the finish.

Update #44: CONVERSION, ST. ANDREW’S, KOSTER! 60-5: A good kick from the right of the field puts the host into the 60s.

Update #45: Mangwana is tackled behind his own line and forced to ground the ball.

Update #46: YELLOW CARD, ST. ANDREW’S, ALLANSON! The winger sees yellow. It appears as if it is for taking a player out in the air.

Update #47: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S, MORE! 65-5: It does not look as if the hosts are perturbed. The ball is swung out to the left of the field and the centre goes over once again!

Update #48: CONVERSION, ST. ANDREW’S, KOSTER! 67-5: The fly-half appears to have found his kicking boots. Another good kick from a challenging position.

Update #49: 11 minutes to go in the game and the end couldn’t come soon enough for Kingswood.

Update #50: More intercepts a pass inside Kingswood’s half, but the hosts are called back for offside.

Update #51: Flemming capitalises on some poor handling from Kingswood and breaks for the hosts, but he is caught and brought down as he ventures into the Kingswood half.

Update #52: TRY, ST. ANDREW’S! 72-5: A driving maul takes them over on the right-hand side of the field. It’s unclear who has grounded it.

Update #53: Koster drags the conversion attempt wide to the right.

Update #54: Kingswood nearly score a consolation try, but some good work from the St. Andrew’s defenders wins them a defensive lineout.

Update #55: FULL-TIME: ST. ANDREW’S 72-5 KINGSWOOD. The hosts have well and truly claimed their revenge, demolishing Kingswood at Lower Field right from the first kick-off.
