African Street to be resurfaced

Dodging potholes in African Street (between South and Somerset Streets) is about to become a thing of the past, as the Makana Municipality plans to resurface the road. The road will be closed to traffic for the period of the resurfacing. The road is scheduled to be closed from Thursday 8 to Saturday 11 June. If the work is not completed within the prescribed period the road will remain closed on Monday 11 June. There will be no entry permitted to the Baratt parking area for the duration of this project.
