During a recent weekend trip, the Chapel Outreach Team pupils at Kingswood College, together with a teacher and the Chaplain Reverend Tim Marshall, visited Harvest Christian Church in Port Elizabeth, attending Soulfest. Môreson Methodist Church in Paterson followed, where they played games, sang songs together and prayed with a group of local children and handed out Easter Eggs. They also left food, clothing and stationery donated by their fellow pupils. They sang for and with residents at the Diaz Retirement home in Alexandria, interacted with children at the Jehovah Jireh Children’s Haven and finally visited Kenton Methodist Church on Sunday morning. Marshall said, “I am incredibly proud of the team and how they stepped out of their comfort zones. They went out to minister to others but found that they were ministered to instead.”
