Old Andrean Ross Geldenhuys has made the Southern Kings starting lineup for Saturday's clash against the Jaguares in Port Elizabeth.

Geldenhuys, who won the 2015 Super Rugby title with the Highlanders, will be making his first appearance since returning to South Africa from his stint with the New Zealand side in the off-season.

Tyler Paul, another Old Andrean, is on the bench for the encounter, as is former Graeme College pupil Luzuko Vulindlu.

In last year's Port Elizabeth clash, Southern Kings beat Jaguares 29-22 in a scrappy encounter that saw the visitors pick up two red cards and one yellow.

It was one of only two wins picked up by Deon Davids' side last year. However, with the help of experienced campaigners such as Geldenhuys, they will look to notch up several more in 2017.

Jaco Peyper will referee the fixture, which kicks off at 17h15 South African time.
