A case of business robbery is being investigated by the Kenton On Sea police following an incident at a shop in Marcelle on 2 February.

A case of business robbery is being investigated by the Kenton On Sea police following an incident at a shop in Marcelle on 2 February.

Police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender said the owner of the shop was about to close it when three suspects entered.

Govender said the men were armed and had covered their faces with balaclavas. 

“They took an undisclosed amount of cash as well as cellphones and cigarettes that valued at R4 000,” Govender said. 

“Any person with information on this should please contact nearest police station or the crime stop number on 086 001 0111.” 

She added that all information is strictly confidential and callers  had a choice to remain anonymous.
