A man in possession of 680 boss mandrax tablets with a street value of R34 000 was arrested in Grahamstown on Sunday 8 January.

Police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender said a police task team had received information that there were mandrax tablets at the house in Dr Jacob Zuma Drive.

Following the required procedure, police went to the house, arrested a 34-year-old man and seized the tablets.

Govender said the man will appear in court soon and faces a charge of possession of drugs.
