Blitzbok star and former Mary Waters and Kingswood pupil Rosko Specman will square off with England's ex-Graeme College exchange student, Dan Bibby, in the Cape Town Sevens Cup final at 19h44.

Specman scored a sensational winning try as South Africa came from behind to beat New Zealand 14-7 in the first semi-final, while Bibby starred in England's comfortable 33-14 Cup semi-final win over Scotland.

Having come off the bench to clinch victory for South Africa, Specman said: "I think my try was the game changer. The boys put all that effort in to keep it at 7-7 and I knew that if I came on, I just had to do the basics."

Specman has long since spoken of his love for Mary Waters and Kingswood, and has hailed his time at the latter as having been essential to his breakthrough in the professional game.

Bibby, meanwhile, was complimentary of Graeme College earlier today. He attended the school on exchange from Kirkham Grammar School, and in an interview with Grocott's Mail after England's 31-26 quarter-final win over Fiji, he said: "I hope everyone [at Graeme]is alright. I had the best experience ever there, and hopefully they'll welcome me back with open arms one day."

South Africa are the defending Cape Town Sevens champions and sit on top of this season's HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, having won the Dubai tournament last weekend. However, they are likely to face a stern challenge from England, who pulled off a stunning comeback from 19-0 down against defending world champions Fiji.
